Fine-pitch LED wall for executive conference center

Brief

A corporate campus needed a primary divisible room to host hybrid board meetings. The display had to render 4K UI text crisply at 2.5m viewing, support HDR video showcases, and sit flush with acoustic wall panels without buzzing interference on ceiling microphones.

System design

We specified a 1.5mm indoor SMD wall with low-noise scanning and magnet-front service. Processing includes scalers with EDID discipline for executive laptops; a touch overlay track remains empty for future upgrade. Power sequencers stage on to avoid inrush trips; grounding isolates ground loops from audio DSP.

UX and calibration

Color calibration targeted Rec.709 for broadcast-style presentations with an optional DCI-P3 mode for marketing reels. Preset buttons on a wall plate recall “presentation,” “video,” and “off” with ramped fades to avoid audience flash. Training covered laptop scaling pitfalls and safe cleaning.

Results

Executive assistants report fewer “can everyone see the spreadsheet?” delays. IT logs show stable handshake across thousands of plug cycles. Microphone noise floor tests met the acoustician’s spec with the wall at 400 nits typical.

Integration window: 7 days between carpet lock and first town hall.
