Lounge accent neon arc
Concept
A hotel lounge redesign called for a sculptural light element above a circular banquette—Instagram-friendly but not visually loud for guests reading or working. Ceiling height was limited; mechanical ducts crossed the arc path, requiring a segmented layout with invisible electrical joins.
Execution
We fabricated a continuous-looking arc from three linked segments with in-line connectors hidden in ceiling coffers. Silicone neon provides uniform bend radius; color matches the property’s gold-and-rose palette. DMX dimming ties to scene presets: brunch bright, evening lounge, and late-night low for bar service.
Coordination
AV contractor provided ceiling penetration map; we avoided sprinkler heads and smoke detector zones. Finish carpentry received a drilling template for mounting blocks; paint touch-up kit shipped with the handover box.
Guest response
Social mentions of the lounge rose 40% quarter over quarter; staff anecdotally report fewer requests for “a spot with good light for photos.” Energy draw remains modest due to efficient LEDs and scheduling.
Fabrication: 6 days; install during soft opening week.
